I'm creating this early in the morning as I haven't worked too much on the game I've mainly been busy with marketing and also talking to other developers and looking at other projects on Instagram Threads.
That being said I did play test the game last night and I learned that Lego bricks are rectangles I found the exact dimensions for them so I'll need to fix the current size of my blocks within the terrain generation and for building.
I also have been piling up bugs that I'm finding that I need to fix and implement the new tool UI system. In general, I feel the game just isn't quite ready yet. I did properly resize the blocks but they are not the right dimensions to what Lego bricks are.
I also need to improve the UI of the block palette UIs. I think I must make them by hand since I must include a neat image for each block in the block palette. Making things handmade will take more time but will look better and allow me to customize them more easily.
I'm also thinking about what shaders and settings I should have to make my game pop a bit more. The game looks alright but it feels like it is missing something. Maybe it is textures? Not entirely sure. It could also be the graphics. I find the world to be overly blue with the lighting and I'm not sure what is exactly causing it.
